Senior Partner, Arwel Griffith, is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, having been admitted to the Fellowship by achievement in 2001. In May 2003 he became the President of The Association of Building Engineers, the leading body dealing in the technology of buildings in England and Wales and received the Distinguished Service Award from that organisation in 2013.

A vastly experienced surveyor with over 30 years in the industry relating to all areas of commercial and residential valuation and surveys

He is a regular contributor to the media writing articles for the national and trade press and appearing on National Television and Radio. Amongst many of Arwel’s projects over the years was his involvement in the reconstruction of the Iranian Embassy back in the 1980’s.

Senior Partner, Jon Welch, qualified over 35 years ago and is an established Fellow of the RICS. He has developed substantial experience in the field of valuation, survey and development appraisal work on residential and commercial property in and around Greater London and the South East of England.

His client base includes various lending institutions, Housing Associations on the acquisition and condition of their housing stock, private clients and management companies with substantial property portfolios.

Jon and Fellow Partner Arwel Griffith, have been together for over 30 years. Both have taken active roles in driving the partnership forward helping to create a large and established client portfolio.

Martin is our Midlands based Senior Surveyor. He studied Land Management at De Montfort University Leicester, graduating in 1997 and became a professional member of the RICS in 2002

Martin joined JRW Surveyors in 2006, and has been a key member of the team ever since. He was elected as a Fellow of the RICS in 2014. Martin has over 25 years of experience in the Midland property Market. He specialises in valuations with a broad sphere of knowledge in the commercial and residential markets. He regularly undertakes Red Book valuation, mainly for secured lending purposes across the property spectrum including, retail, office, industrial, residential as well as development appraisals.

Away from work, Martin enjoys spending time with his family, and is a keen golfer (when time permits). He also enjoys watching sports, in particular rugby and motorsport.

Mark has worked as a Chartered Surveyor since 2005 with 13 years post qualification experience.

As our Senior Surveyor he has produced valuation reports for mortgage lending purposes, predominantly for the short-term lending market for all types of residential properties, commercial properties and development sites. He has also undertaken valuations for probate, matrimonial and lease extension purposes.

An important team player and keenly interested in outdoor pursuits including mountaineering! The carabiners however have been hung up recently whilst he acts as taxi to his young family!
